I’m new in Santa Clarita and yesterday I tried the fish and chips in Canyon country inspite of your comment. I was surprised that all the comments you made about the restaurant were not true. You tried the 2 pc $6.49 for seniors citizen which you don’t sound like one. If you order that the cook will make your fish the way the seniors want (soft ) Most of them don’t have any teeth to chew a crispy fish. So my suggestion is to try the regular menu and tell them how you want your fish. I learned from the gentlemen at the store that they cater to mostly senior citizen 72 % of their customers. These customers have been going to H&H for the last 34 years. Some of them now want without picle relish on their tartar sauce. I hate mustard so I asked if they put mustard on their tartar sauce and he told me not part of their recipe. I ordered the seafood combination B. I enjoyed my dinner and had some left over .The fish was so huge, more than enough for two people. They don’t put spices or salt on their fish because some of their seniors cannot eat with salt. I read your reviews. You seemed to like mexican food. I think you just stick to your own kind of food. Lots of salt and lard. It gives flavor to the food. There are good ones around the neihborhood. Good luck to all your dining reviews.

Sounds like you had an awesome meal and it sounds like they really took care of your large group.
