What are some of your favorite martinis?

Cissy at Gregorio's

06/23/2009

My husband and I tried Gregorios this past May 09 after doing research on-line for good Mexican food in our new neighborhood. It was very disappointing. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good.

I had a cup of green chili and a smothered chicken burrito. My husband had the chicken enchilada plate. They give you a lot a food but there is nothing interesting about it.

I know this sounds silly, but I actually tried it again this evening.

My daughter is visiting and wanted some fajitas.
I decided to give them another chance since they are right down the street and we had read such good things about them when we first moved here. Big mistake!

To ovolacto I would say: If I had to choose between value and flavor, I would always choose flavor.

Gregorios is strictly boring “border town” food made to fill the belly.
In fact, I don’t even wan’t to drive by the place for fear I will be reminded of two unpleasant meals…

Man, customer service truly went out the window!

What’s in their special sauce?

If you are new in town, and you like vegetarian, you need to try “Water Course” on the corner of 17th and Emerson. It is the best vegetarian restaurant anywhere.
