Ohh I think that is great! thanks for sharing your memories…I hope they don’t change things to much there because we love it :) glad to hear it has a respectable history hehehe…now I need to find a good Chinese joint!! because nobody in Florida knows how to make it. I got use to my place in St. Louis.

I keep telliing folks to hit the China Palace Buffet on SR 60 near Valrico. 11.95, fri-Sat nights. AlYCE including crab legs. I’m not a big woman, but I can crack some crabs legs with the best of them. Their crab legs are good. The steam table is constantly refilled with fresh, steaming crab & a big bucket of melted butter, lemon wedges. Call to find out if they still do it. The parking lot is always full for lunch & dinner. It’s right across from Cracker Barrell, which I hate. Yuk.

We are a family of four and eat at The Oaks frequently..love it love it love it! Always under 45.00 (with 15% tip)….Great people, great prices, great food!Oh sir, I too have eaten the all you can eat crab..it was delicious but so much food who could eat all that?! Great ribs & burgers too, yum!

Trust me, I’m not a competitor. Just trying to make intelligent decisions on where I spend my very few $. I waited tables, tended bar in my younger years at some High faluttin’ places.
Some of the stuff that goes on in the kitchens, u don’t wanna know.
I’ve thrown a few pots at high hat egomaniac chefs.
If I didn’t like the dish, I wouldn’t serve it. Period.
No one enjoys an unpleasant dining experience. I’ve never been to Jaymer, just heard decent things. That’s how we all make our dining decisions. Word of mouth and a full parking lot is the best advertising.
The ‘hating & lieing’ ? Where are you coming from? Me thinks someone forgot to take their meds today.
I do this for fun. not anxiety.
We’re lucky to be able to go out for a meal.
There are many less fortunate.
Get a grip.
