When you reserve a room there, they make up a contract. If you do not follow through with the contract you’ve agreed to, there will be consequences. And if you cancel last minute, and have already given the down payment, there will be no refund. Those people knew what they were getting into the moment they made the reservation. It’s not the restaurants fault they couldn’t follow through. It’s pitiful that they had to go to a news station to ask for “Help.”. Also, if they couldn’t afford to pay the deposit, they should have never made the reservation in the first place. Don’t bash the place just because of a stupid irrelevant “lawsuit.”
