As the writer of the “Cranford Gem” review, I am rethinking the number of stars I awarded and I realize I should have given Triestina four stars, not the three that are indicated besides my review. It IS that good.

Had you read the review, you would see that the issue was not at all with the food; I think the chef is wonderful on both the tavern and fine dining side. The issue is with the front end management (including bartenders)and its lack of ability to properly foster good customer relationships. I am quite aware of the tavern and its offerings and have never had any complaints about the quality of the cuisne. Use some common sense when replying to previous postings.

Well, yes; I certainly would not say it is a kiddy joint. It is nice step up from your typical ‘family’ restaurant. I have also enjoyed the veal brasciole and several of the more ‘typical’ Italian dishes.
