Absolutely agree! This place is a good candidate for Kitchen Nightmares! These people are unprofessional twats! I walk in, because they have a LIGHTED sign that says “open” and “Pizza by the Slice.” I’m told “DOH, we won’t have any slices until Friday.” (It was Tuesday.) This is THE most discombobulated and unprofessional establishment I’ve ever come across—and I WORKED in the restaurant industry for years—even before I went to cooking school. I also helped run a family business. All I said to the man—not being sarcastic, just casually, was, “That’s one helluva way to run a business.” The guy blows his top at me, and like a small, petulant child, tells me, “Glad you like it!” What a massive JACKARSE! I told him, that I had my own business, and my advice is NEVER mouth off to a customer. Because unless that customer is brain dead or a relative, that custer is NEVER going to return. And you CANNOT run a business without repeat customers. You know what this ass_ole tells me then? To GO TO PAPA JOHNS UP THE STREET. That is the first time, in 35 years of going into resturants, that anyone has ever told me to buy food from someone else! And…I did. And the girls were lovely, and the pizza was hot, fresh and very reasonably priced.
Just curious as to why you would go there 3 times if the place is so terrible. You are probably just one of those ultra picky douche bags who is never happy with anything. Your dollars probably aren’t hard earned either, you just sit behind a computer all day.
I’d like to ask the simple question….how wasn’t it Speedy Green’s fault for overcharge if it was blatantly clear that this customer was charged that amount? I think that the owner owes this customer a HUGE apology and pay the man the overcharges the bank charged him. If not, Speedy Greens should be ashamed of themselves and get out of the business! What ever happened to customer satisfaction?!? Be holistic and own up to your error! As customers, we have the power – don’t eat at this restaurant!
