I’m not quite clear on the negative comments either. Sure the prices are a bit steep, but I’m sure that it has to pay the rent. I never had a bad experience here and never had any complaints from those who I took with me. I do not find the staff rude either as gtichick2002 seems to have encountered.

I’ve been several times, and I’ve always had good service, amazingly fast service no matter how busy they are. I have on occasion waitied a few minutes at the door to be acknowledged, but a family run resturant doesn’t always have someone on staff just to be a host/hostess.

Two hours for a couple is acceptable. But, if you were in my position, a party of 10, and our dinner took 5 hours – not because we weren’’t ready – the service was that slow. And to expect your customers to wait 75 miniutes for a check?? Most people would have walked out without paying after 30 minutes. And to make us feel better they gave us coupons to use on our next visit. What a slap in the face!! Take something off this bill for making us wait so long. If you expected dinner to be 2 -3 hours and it took 5 hours, would you go back?
Bottom line, The food was excellent, but the service needs major help.

I think I visted 3 or 4 years ago. They must be doing something right to remain open, I’m just not really motivated to give them another try.

I love Apollo, but I always recommend new visitors against the garlic bread – it was too much for me, I couldn’t eat it.
