curioustraveler: complaining about a restaurant which strongly glorifies Castro (although, curiously, it wraps that up in an atmosphere of pre-Castro Cuba (see the Durham menu))—fairly viewed as a dictator and murderer—is all about “political feelings” being “hurt”? how would you fee about a restaurant that glorifies hitler? would you care for some wiener schnitzel with your hitler propanda? or perhaps some nice nice Korean food and drink while honoring North Korea’s Kim Jong-Il? the truth is that the owners of this restaurant chain are not revolutionaries, but capitalist opportunits of the type that would be prosecuted and jailed by Castro. Sadly, there are idiots like you that defend their profiteering off of a dictator. Geez…

Obviously you voted against my review below, which is fine, everyones entitled to their opinion. But would you mind explaining what exactly was bad about the food? Saying that people should “Skip the food” without any kind of clue as to why, what you ate or any valid info just sounds like you’re downing the place simply to down it. Thats why I considered your review unhelpful. Restaurants go from good to crappy all the time so Im certainly not defending the place, but its still surprising to me since our experience was really very good and I did plan on visiting again.

Yes, Caleb was told about the extra charges because he always asked first. He even questioned the sales tax. He always wanted something different than what was on the menu but never wanted to pay for it. Also, we do NOT use mozzarella cheese on pizza, never said we did. I was never rude to you Caleb. You’re just a bitter, lonely old man who had nothing to do on Valentine’s Day but sit there and write nasty comments about me. Hope you feel better now!!!!

Wow, that’s bad, bad customer service!

Ooooh…stuffed wth mushroom and fontina cheese? I would definitely go for that. :)
