I went to school in Orting. Route 66 used to be called The Wayside. It was our local burger joint that all the high school kids worked at. We would all hang out there at lunch and after school. I have been there since it has been the pizza joint and you are correct…best pizza ever;-) I especially LOVE their garlic chicken pizza;-)

No, I wont be back. I ‘did’ love their muffins…untill the 3 hairs thing. I know people who still go there and love it…thats great. But its not for me anymore. How could someone possibly eat there again after a visit like that? No way. I was totally embarassed by the whole deal, as the people we took there run a bistro. So sorry but the 3 hairs story is TRUE.

I tried the biscuits and gravy at Mad Dog, and was VERY DISAPPOINTED! They were obviously NOT homemade biscuits and, in my opinion, their gravy was just average. If you want REALLY GOOD biscuits and gravy, you should try Dixie’s in Sumner! Their biscuits are homemade and their gravy has big chunks of sausage. Awesome!
