Laid back happy hour
This is a very laid back place for happy hour. I come here often with my friends, portion is big and the server remember you! I think that’s most important for when the people remember you, make you feel welcomed.
I usually come here on weekdays… usually the servers just give us the controller to change channel for what we want to watch…
I like the wings and cheeseburger sliders best.
Sliders only cost 1.00, the wings are less than 3… and have lots of sauce….

there's a reason they call it "Happy" Hour
I had happy hour this time. Read my previous review for this restaurant here
-
Chipotle BBQ Pork Quesadilla
Surprisingly non-greasy for quesadillas. I only give it a 3-star because I’m not a huge fan of BBQ-flavored foods.
-
Tuscan White Bean Hummus
I’ve never had pureed hummus til I came here. You wouldn’t believe how satisfying warm flatbread and hummus is. The fresh tomatoes in the hummus is a nice touch.
-
Beef Vegetable Orzo Soup
A hearty, tomato-based soup with the right amounts of meat, veggie, and pasta. So cheap and filling! Also loved the fact that they cooked the vegetables through so there’s no raw carrot taste.
-
Caesar Salad
There’s nothing fancy about this caesar but it’s a pretty good deal for two bucks. The dressing was also just right (read: no soggy lettuce here).
-
Manzana's Peach Iced Tea
My new favorite drink that completed the Happy Hour experience. =p I’d recommend it to all my female friends. It drinks really well and isn’t overly sweet.

Surprisingly tasty happy hour find
I’d read about Manzana from other user reviews, so we decided to give it a shot for happy hour and were pleasantly surprised. The location is a tad hidden and out of the way from the rest of the businesses in Lincoln Square.
I enjoyed the dark, pleasant bar atmosphere and the nice booths surrounding the bar area – it’s one step up (and less crowded) from the other happy hour options in the area.

Hefeweizen
Not a fan of this one.
-
Guiness
Always a tasty choice.
-
Tuscan White Bean Hummus
Pretty tasty, but a bit oily.
-
Chipotle BBQ Pork Quesadilla
Very tasty, and a great deal.
-
Southwestern Salad
Not outstanding, but tastier than I would have expected.
-
Barbeque Beef Sandwich
A bit dry, but flavorful. Not worth it compared to the other happy hour items.

My sample size is 1 visit, but..
5 of us came came for Sunday brunch. Lowlights were burnt French toast, an absentee order of huevos rancheros, and occasional waitress tag for table service.
On the upside, the food was average and the price was fair given where we were. And it still beat the 30+ minute wait at Chace’s: I’d go back again given those options.

better than expected =)
I usually don’t have high expectations for franchise restaurants that serve “American” cuisine (burgers, pasta, rotisserie chicken, etc), but Manzana did better than I anticipated. Just so you have an idea, I liked Manzana over Claim Jumper’s.
I liked the presentation of the foods and appreciated the freshness of ingredients. If you know what I mean, the dishes didn’t seem like prototype dishes you’d find at franchise restaurants. That said, it was still a little overpriced in my opinion (I know, I know, it’s Bellevue).
The service was good, though, and I had a good experience. I’d go back to try their $2-$4 Happy Hour appetizers!

Seared Ahi Tuna
These were thick pieces of carefully seared ahi with an Asian-influenced black bean salsa on the side. Yum~ =P
-
Simply Grilled Salmon
Simply grilled, simply delicious. Good portion of salmon filet, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The salmon was also pretty tender. I’d be more adventurous next time but this made for a great meal!

Love the atmosphere!
I go to Manzana at least once a week. When it first opened, i think a little over a year ago, i literally went there every other day. I always sit in the bar, but it’s like sitting in the restaurant because there are plenty of booths and it’s super comfortable. Their happy hours are great, although no drink specials for you alcoholics, just great food specials. There are about 15 dishes all in the range of $1.99-$3.99. Good portions too! They also start Happy Hour a half an hour earlier than the nearby restaurants so if you can’t wait for McCormick and Schmicks, head to Manzana – waaaay better setting and much more welcoming!
They also serve breakfast starting at 6am. They’re located at the bottom of the Westin so it’s to provide a breakfast place for hotel guests.

Happy Hour: Pork Quesadilla
really tasty!!! a little twist on quesadillas, but you gotta try it!
-
Fuji apple, gorgonzola salad
great salad with apples, walnuts, greens, rotisserie pulled-chicken, and apple-walnut vinigarette (i substitute the gorgonzola with feta – not a blue cheese fan). Half size during lunch is plenty!
-
Happy Hour: Southwestern Chicken Wrap
Rotisserie pulled-chicken, corn, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, beans wrapped in a tomato-basil tortilla. Refreshingly good!
-
Chicken Tortilla Soup
Thick and creamy, really filling!
-
Happy Hour: Honey Glazed Drumsticks
I love it, but may be too sweet for some of you. The glaze is really rich. The chicken is super tender and just pulls right off the bone.
