It would be difficult to find another restaurant with as much warmth and charm as the 94th Aero Squadron. Located inside a replica of a World War I French farmhouse, the restaurant sits overlooking Montgomery Field Airport, and is packed full of military memorabilia, antique farm implements, and aviation relics. The interior is cozy and romantic, with huge stone fireplaces, masses of hanging green plants, dark wood paneling, beamed ceilings, and old airplane wings hanging over the dining area. One Restaurant, three locations, same menu, continents apart! Just steps away from the bustling Piazza della Signoria, Acqua Al 2 is tucked away where it remains Florence's favorite charming spot. It’s a meeting place where writers, artists, and influential Florentines dine on exquisite food and great wine. International celebrities, such as Samuel L. Jackson, Peter Weller, Herbie Hancock, and Lauren Hutton, have all sampled the restaurant’s Tuscan cuisine. The culinary adventure continues as the original dishes from Florence are now served in San Diego and in Washington, D.C. Twelve years ago, Martin Gonzalez opened the doors to the first international Acqua Al 2 in the heart of the Gaslmap District in San Diego. The Executive Chef, Stefano Innocenti, spent seven months in San Diego training the staff in the recipes and techniques. The owner, Martin Gonzalez, also spent a year working in the kitchen in Italy. We invite you to sample our authentic cuisine right here in San Diego. The restaurant is located at 322 5th Avenue, between streets J and K, in the heart of the historic Gaslamp District.

Welcome to CUCINA urbana, a casual Italian American Neighborhood Kitchen and Wine Shop located in the heart of Banker's Hill. The menu highlights the cuisines of various Italian regions with a distinct California ‘farm to table’ flair for which the Urban Kitchen Group has become known. Chef Joe Magnanelli is excited to preview his Italian heritage and create dishes that are fresh, simple and seasonal. Items include: antipasti, artisan pizza, pasta and piatti.
