5.0recently opened on the corner of 53rd and 9th. everything that comes out of that kitchen is heavenly – from the start of the “ny style” pretzels with mustard butter to the pork shank (i need an extra stomach to finish it!) to the raisin bread pudding. everything was delightful. had a great server, i believe her name was noel. request her when you go in, she was so kind and attentive. music was audible but not deafening. cool graffiti on the walls give it a chic atmosphere. cant wait to go back!
huge portion. perfectly cooked. not dry at all. loved the sweet & sour cabbage. everything just worked well together.
i wish i knew how to make this soup at home. it was so velvety and creamy… the added candied bacon and soft poached egg added so much flavor. a great warm soup on a cold winter night!
