lots of thai food
This Thai restaurant in Berkeley seems to have larger portions than most of the other Thai restaurants. The prices are a bit higher, with the dishes generally ranging between 8-11 dollars, unless you get seafood, which is more.
I’ve tried the pineapple fried rice here, which turned out well. There is a lot of food, and they don’t skimp out on the meat. It came with a few large shrimps, chicken, pineapples, and vegetables. Every bite had some sort of goodie, so the dish was a success overall. I also tried something called mus -s-mun, which is a red curry with beef, potatoes, and something I can’t remember. It came with tons of curry, the beef was great (besides some super fatty pieces), but the potatoes were subpar. Some were a bit hard and needed to be cooked longer. You have order rice separately, and it doesn’t come with a lot of rice in my opinion, for the amount of curry they provide.
If I’m looking to eat a ton of Thai food in Berkeley, then this is a good place to go. They have generous portions, and their dishes are solid. Also, the service was excellent and prompt most of the time.

Pineapple Fried Rice
Lots of shrimp and chicken. The pineapple was also sweet, and the dish filled me up well.

Mus-S-Mun
I loved the beef with the red sauce, but the potatoes were lackluster. They also need to give more rice. Great portion size though!
