1.0This used to be a favorite place of mine, however, I had an unforgivable experience recently that changes all that. The customer service is horrible!!! After the counter girl took 4 phone orders ahead of mine, I was finally noticed by the owner. He took my order and I asked how long it would take. 30 minutes was the response. 35 minutes later, I asked what the hold up was, and he said 15 more minutes. Well after waiting a FULL HOUR in the car, with my hungry children getting fussy, he finally brought the pizza out with no apology or anything to try and make it right. Instead, the crust was done but the cheese was BURNT! I asked for my money back and was met with “This isn’t Pizza Hut or Domino’s, I don’t give away free pizza! I don’t care if I said 1/2 hr, if you want the pizza you have to pay for it. Etc.” Well I opted to get my money back. But the owner actually argued and yelled at me in the parking lot for a good 5 minutes and it was extremely embarassing and out of line. AWFUL! I will never eat here again. I finally got my money back, but he wasted an hour of my time and brought me to tears through no fault of my own. Don’t give this jerk your money! I left and went to Little Caeser’s where I bought 2 pizzas for $7 less than the price of one “Better Pizza” (Yeah Right!) and it took less than 3 minutes. A Better Pizza needs A Better Attitude!!!

2.0We order every Friday. Craig (the owner) has even given us free food/discounts. This Friday he had an inexperienced order taker. I gave her my delivery information, even spelled my street name. After 1.5 hours my dinner was not delivered. I called and the person on the phone was the usual delivery person, He indicated he thought the pick up order was strange, we usually deliver. He called the owner (Craig) and told him the situation. The usual driver called back and said Craig said he would give us the order for 10.00. I told him I thought it should be free but ok 10.00.
The driver came with our food and did not have a charge receipt for me to sign. I told him I would pay 10.00 dollars as agreed but I would dispute the charge if it was more. The driver was apologetic and I gave him a tip.
Craig the owner called within 10 minutes very belligerent and said he heard from his driver that I was going to dispute the charge. I told him I said I would only dispute if it was more than 10 as the driver did not have the charge slip. Craig said he would give the order for 15.00 I said I was told 10.00 THEN THE OWNER CRAIG SCREAMED IN MY PHONE ‘ I WONT CHARGE YOU BUT DELETE MY NUMBER OUT OF YOUR PHONE AND HUNG UP ON ME.
A better Pizza has good food but the owner should go to management classes or a least enroll in a people skills class. He has no class.
He severed our 2 year relationship.

1.0I was treated like crap here. I called and told them I had a coupon over the phone before driving 30 minutes with my 12 year old son to pick up the pizza. The girl behind the counter who told me over the phone I could use my coupon ripped it up and said the owner no longer accepts these. I told her I had paid money for the coupon and wanted to talk to the owner. The owner told me he won’t accept the coupon and that it was tough shit! I couldn’t believe my ears! I paid $4 from restaurant.com for the coupon (10 off). I would have never driven 30 minutes to pick the pizza up had I not known I couldn’t use my coupon. He said he didn’t care if he lost a customer for life when I told him I would never come back. This angry rude man is so stubborn he would rather throw his pizza away (or eat it judging by his weight) than do what’s right by the customer to keep the business. I have never, ever been treating so poorly by a business owner or his staff in my life. They were downright rude and nasty to me. Tell me over the phone that you do not accept the coupon so I don’t drive 30 minutes out of my way with my son to pick it up! Is that too hard? And be polite? Take the $15 instead of the $25 and keep the customer? Just a thought.
