Yes, I Juan-a!

Don Juan’s doesn’t look all that nice from the outside—you see an old yellow sign from the 70’s, and that’s when you know to stop. And you should stop. Because it’s absolutely perfect food and a gem of a restaurant you’ll be able to bring your friends to and they’ll be, like, sooooo jealous.

Don’t be shy about trying the more gourmet dishes; they aren’t just for show. If you won’t take my word for it, ask a waiter where the bathroom is and read the newspaper clippings taped to the wall in that general area – the several positive reviews will boost your confidence.

What I ate:

Perfectly cooked & seasoned. My tip? Pile as many vegetables and beans onto each tortilla as you can, or else you’ll just bring it home to eat 15 minutes later. Save yourself the luggage.

If it had a street name, it would be called The Illness. But in a good way.
