Debbie & Carlos Nieto opened their restaurant in November 1981. From the start, Carlos has received many accolades from the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Sun-Times & North Shore Magazine. Carlos has also been in Food & Wine's top 25 restaurants in North America, Zagat's top 5 restaurants in Chicago & Gourmet Magazine as a top restaurant.
