overpriced
i came here many years ago back in the day when sushi was a new & unknown cuisine to me. i had no idea what i was ordering (edamame? yellowtail? masago?), but went ahead and ordered it anyway. needless to say, with the sky high prices i didn’t order much at first and found myself so starved that i stupidly ended up ordering more! so foolish…
anyways, i haven’t been back since.

YAMABUKi= NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY
Yamabuki is located near Downtown Disney next to Paradise Pier hotel and has the rudest waitresses. My friend ordered a sushi roll and tempura for dinner because each dish was already $15 and the waiter asked her why she was only getting that for dinner. The dishes are ridiculously overpriced- you’re looking at around $30~40 for an entree of japanese food. In return, you only get mediocre food you could probably find anywhere else (sushi boat, miyake, etc).
-
Salmon
The salmon was pretty good but definitely not worth the price. It was also ridiculously small and not very filling.
-
miso soup
This is regular, plain miso soup you can find anywhere else. It’s not worth $5!!!!
