Is it “for sure”?
We happened to step into this place when walking in downtown vancouver hunting for food. Kitto means “for sure” in Japanese, so we assume that it’s good for sure
Except a sushi bar, there are only a few tables, so it feels like an Izakaya in Japan. Tables are all taken by reservation, so obviously ppl like us came unprepared got to sit in the sushi bar.
Food came very fast, almost rit after we ordered, and the whole dinner only took 40 mins. It’s not quite quality meal but tastes all right; or it might just because we didn’t order sushi roll but only hot food instead.
It’s kind of funny that we didn’t know sushi Chefs are Chinese until we hear them talk in Chinese at the end, which made us wonder — what’s “for sure” here?
-
Tofu and Avocado Salad
Fresh tofu, tomato, cucumber and avocado topped with seaweed. Served with their house dressing. An interesting combination and everything is fresh!
-
Pork Ramen
This is a big bowl too but the majority is noodles. There are at most 4 pieces of pork and a few sprouts. It might be a bit disappointing to someone expecting a balanced dinner.
-
Teriyaki Salmon
2 long slices of salmon with steamed veggie. It tastes good, but don’t expect too much.
