Rare was selected by enRoute Magazine as one of the Top Five Best New Restaurants in Canada for 2006 and Best New Restaurant in Vancouver by The Vancouver Sun. Rare wines, rare cooking technique and rare cuts of steaks, fish, oysters and seafood; using only sustainable and wild stocks. As the customer is swept into a warm room of modern yet classic earth-tone colors and decor, coats and umbrellas disappear! Introductions are made. Old friendships are rekindled and new ones made. With no effort or conscious thought, guests find themselves comfortably in the lounge or at their table creating or continuing their personal relationships with the owners and their team.
