Good Eats

Ginza’s a really good deal in the almost deserted food fareway of Jack London Square. Yoshi’s is waay overpriced for sushi. If you want jazz go to Yoshi’s if you want sushi go to Ginza.
The rolls like the Crunch and Power roll are really good here. Their specialties are their variety of rolls. They also have the regular bento boxes, terriyakis and udon dishes. They also have some korean dishes/soups. The tempura I had there was awesome. I can compare it to Sato’s in Pleasanton or even better. Kirala, Tomodachi and many others aren’t as good. The bill for a gut busting meal wasn’t more than $25/person after eating the tempura, the rolls and a donkatsu plate. Definitely going back.

What I ate:

Best tempura batter. The veggies and shrimp are good, but the tempura batter is great. It’s not overfried and it doesn’t have that doughey consistency. Fried up to perfection. Their deep fried octopus is really good too with the dipping sauce.
