Homemade style brunch

Be prepared to wait awhile for seating. The service staff is friendly though. The place looks rather rundown but for the food and price I think that can be easily overlooked

What I ate:
  • ****

It comes with 2 eggs, a slice of ham, 2 slices of toast and a small cup of fruits. The fruits were really good as they were fresh. The servings were good too as I could finish everything. Quite rare for brunch places where they simply load your dishes with oily grub. This place was different. I would definetely come back again!

Friendly comfort food

If you don’t feel like cooking breakfast, head over to Brief. They’ve got some real nice dishes like the special of the day prosciutto omelette and the home potatoes are very tasty. The staff is super friendly and there’s a very homey atmosphere. It all adds up to be a very pleasant experience and a great way to start the day.

This was the special omelette of the day. Could have used more prosciutto, but it hit the spot nonetheless. The potatoes were great and I was able to get a pancake instead of the toast. Score!

It's OK

I guess I have high expectation since I saw some good review about this cafe. I think atmosphere is pretty good: causual and fun. However, I think it is a bit dirty. The food feels very homey, but I am not too impressed by the food nor the service.

    Not bad, but nothing special.

cute and cozy brunch place!

i’m so glad that i found a good breakfast place right near downtown bellevue… on a nice day, the outdoor seating is a great option too!

the coffee cake of the day was really yummy! it’s a huge slice too, so great for sharing as a table—but i actually had it by itself as a sweet meal when paired with coffee :)

great brunch place!

My first time there and I had a great experience. The food was fresh and tasty and service was good. I went at peak brunch time, the cafe felt a bit crammed and noisy… but not uncomfortably so! It actually felt more like a cafe in seattle than on the east side. This is in the same plaza as “sushi in joy”.

served with fresh fruit and toast; this was tasty and fresh!
