From the Restaurant

Our mission at BREADBAR is ambitious: we are proposing a new way of making and eating bread, of thinking and talking about bread. It is inspired by the age-old breadcraft of France, a place where breadmaking still enjoys the greatest respect, and where bread is consumed and appreciated with the same distinction as fine wine and cheese.
Inspired by the Slow Food Movement and California's independent farmers and craftspeople, BREADBAR's menu is dedicated to the season. Where possible, we use organic, locally farmed produce, meat, poultry and fish, while striving to be nutritionally aware and environmentally conscious.

Inspired by our unique breads, we offer a menu that spans breakfast, brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner.

Frequently, we hold events that promote the artisanal products, guest chefs, independent artists and musicians that make up our menus and fill our community driven spaces.
