I had rabbit fettucine but it didn't show off...
I had rabbit fettucine but it didn’t show off the flavor of the rabbit. Also the menu didn’t mention that it was spicy. I also had the Nutella S’more with house marshmallows. It was good, but I was hoping it would be even better.
The rest of my table did not complain about their orders, but did not compliment them either.
The only exception was the hot chocolate. We all thought it was very good. I recommend it.
I think that Park Grill is getting a bad rap...
I think that Park Grill is getting a bad rap on here. The food was good, the dessert fantastic and the view was great. I had a brick roasted chicken w/ lavender and honey and it was pretty tasty. A little small portion wise, but tasty. Dessert was a chocolate mouse with blueberries and whatnot. After having it I can see why the pastry/dessert chef has won awards. The big bonus though is sitting out on the patio and people watching.
The only negative I have was the service. I thought we could have gotten in and out quicker but since I wasn’t in a hurry I wasn’t as impatient as I can be.
a tourist (venus fly)trap
as a vegan, the only thing i could find on the menu was a pizza with no cheese. i mean, that wasn’t on the menu per se, but i ordered the $12 pizza without cheese.
it came with cheese on it.
not a hard request, guys. not for people who have supposedly been to culinary school. just leave the bag of kraft shredded cheese on the counter closed, aiight?
and at no point was the waitress like, “hey, why’re you ordering that? most people don’t really enjoy pizza crust and sauce for dinner. would you like to request something special like a vegetable plate from the chef?”
three people ate, our bill was well over $60, and no one was very happy.
oh, the second star i gave it? that’s a pity star. i actually feel bad for a restaurant.

overpriced burgers
after reading great reviews about the burgers here, i gave park grill a try. for $9, i was expecting spectacular, juicy burgers…alas, the burgers were only just ok. (in ‘n out burgers, if you’ve ever had ’em, are better.) the one perk about eating here is the patio – lots of fun during the summer when you can enjoy the weather, people watch, and catch bits of a free concert at the pavillion.
oh, the service was a big thumbs down too.
