Delicious Casual Eating...

Everything I’ve eaten here has been quite good. I enjoy the casual atmosphere and also the fact that I never have to wait for a table. Hummus is smooth and creamy and you can taste the pomegranate molasses in the red pepper dip which are perfect appetizers. The meats here are never overcooked and they have some of the best chicken kebabs in town with a lightly brush of honey to glaze the meat. Many restaurants ruin the meal by overcooking meat and I think this happens in about 85% of restaurants. Cooks are not taught to NOT nuke the hell out of meat. The type of food and desserts they serve here make me think that the chef came from Ruggles but the food here is better.

Great ooze of brie encrusted with toasted almonds was a great way to start off my dinner. The brie was served with grapes, walnuts, and a jalapeno jelly that complimented the cheese that accompanied slices of fresh baguettes. After this heavy course…since I ate most of it, I followed with a tortilla soup which is full of flavor and spice. Their tortilla soup is more of a chowder than your typical clear brothy soups. A touch of lime juice would have perfected the concoction.
