Yummmmm.....
It has been just about 1 week since our family ate at Lonestar. We keep talking about it!! We cannot wait to go back. We found this restaurant when we were traveling between San Diego and Long Beach. OMG… it was the absolute BEST!! There was something for everyone in our family. My daughter had the chicken sandwich, my son the ribs and I had the beef brisket. We would recommend this restaurant hands down!! Not only is the food incredible but it is family owned and the owners were a blast they made us all laugh our heads off. We know that we will stop everytime we are driving between San Diego and Long Beach. All that we have to say is YUM!! I just found their website and I see that they have catering. I want to use them for our family reunion this summer. This would be a super hit!!

Best brisket EVER
If you like out-of this world, slow-smoked, mouth-watering, falling apart tender, juicy brisket just like grandpa used to make, then RUN to Lone Star BBQ. It is DEE-licious. You won’t be sorry. They slow smoke the brisket overnight for 12 HOURS to absolute perfection. It’s a little bit of South Texas in Southern California and it’s a TREAT. Check out their website: lonestarbbqonline.com

Seriously it’s the best I ever had. Perfectly tender and served with some amazing potatoes that I’ve never seen. They were mashed potatoes mixed with corn, then topped with parmesan cheese and sprinkled with a touch of chili powder. They have HOMEMADE BBQ sauce – spicy or mild that’s SUPER good. And I finished it off with a mini Texas Pecan Pie. THE PERFECT MEAL!
