We have frequently ordered take out as well as eaten in the dining room of the Biba’s Cumming, GA location. This latest take out order was a severe let down in terms of customer service. We ordered several entrees from the Biba’s website where it clearly stated at the bottom of the menu page that entrees came with a side order of pasta, along with standard salad and rolls. After picking up our order we discovered at home that our side orders of pasta were missing. We promptly called the restaurant where the hostess that packed our order corroborated our claim and said that a credit for the side dishes would be issued. Not even 5 minutes later, the bartender (Oscar) called us back at home and told us we were never supposed to receive any pasta side dishes with the entrees we ordered. We told Oscar we were looking at the website menu that had the statement. Oscar then informed us that that was an “old” website and proceeded to direct us to the new website. The site we were looking at never mentioned an additional (newer) website. This is all occurring while we were on the phone with Oscar. While looking at the new website, we saw a coupon for $5 off dinner. We presented Oscar the option of either giving us credit for the missing pasta side dishes or redeeming the $5 off coupon. Oscar refused to accommodate either option. Furthermore, he gave an excuse by saying the the coupon needed to be presented at the time of order and that his manager counts every coupon every night. Turns out, Oscar is the manager.

We are disappointed that having been such loyal customers being treated as such and mislead by management. The $5 off coupon was for dinner orders $25 or more, and our total bill was over $50. This was a mid-week dinner order and with a dining room nearly empty, one would expect that Bibas Cumming would value each customer’s order. Obviously that is not the case and as a result, they have lost future business from us. Furthermore, we will not recommend Bibas to our friends and family.
