Light as air Waffles
What a treat! Have driven past this restaurant many times and we finally went in for brunch one day. I had heard the waffles were great and they certainly lived up to the buzz. Unlike most waffles, these have a unique lightness to them with a taste that is sort of breadlike. They serve them with powdered sugar or you can add butter and syrup. I got the strawberries with caramel on mine- what a tasty treat!!
The potatoes are served pancake style are a very tasty, though be sure you like onions otherwise you may find them overpowering.
The coffee was nice, the service was very good and the ambiance was bright and cheery. I am adding this to my brunch roster and look forward to returning for a waffle dinner one night!
