Maybe another star for the fact that I am usually intoxicated when I eat here, and this greasy homestyle mexican food hits the bullseye in such circumstances. yea, its your typical fast food Mexi joint, but not like that crap Del Taco. At 2:00AM, after the bartender has literally pried the pool stick out of your fingers, confiscated your beer, and booted you out the door of your dive, you can mosey on down to Alberto’s to lick your wounds and chow on Carnitas Nachos (LOADED with a mountain of carnitas) and a Chorizo Burrito (All egg, sausage, and cheese and big). We ate, hung out, laughed until 3:30AM and that place still had a steady flow of people coming in or hanging out. Now, if only they had a pool table and some beer.

Apparently, one late night after mucho vodka, I apparently polished off a whole carnitas nachos on my very own. The next day I was looking for my usual leftovers, and I was told I ate it all in one sitting the night before. No way.
