I waited 30 mins for a table on a saturday night. This place looks like a good gathering place for friends. It was pretty crowded. I’ve tried the baby back ribs, memphis ribs, and the blues on the cob. The ribs taste okay. The ribs tasted crispy on the outside but not juicy enough inside. I do think this price is a bit over-priced according to their environment and food.

Not Blue about Baby Blues Bar-B-Q

I’ve been wanting to eat here for over a year. Things just kept coming up and finally this past Saturday I ate there. OMG, what an idiot I was for not trying this sooner. Simply good bbq.

We had the Memphis Queen which is 1/2 baby ribs and 1/2 Memphis ribs, Mac N’ Cheese (not your regular kind), Blues on the Cob (not your regular kind either), Carolina-Style Pulled Pork Sandwich and Key Lime Pie.

We ordered for delivery. The food and service was great. Mind you, I haven’t eaten at so many bbq places, but I can honestly say you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to eat there again.

What I ate:
  • *****

1/2 BABY ribs and 1/2 Memphis Ribs. Make sure you dip them in their red sauce.

  • ****

Also good dipped in their red sauce.

  • *****

The best key lime pie I’ve had yet! :o)

Hot Diggedy-Damn good BBQ

This place rocks. It looks like this little hole in the wall joint (and it is), with bizarre, but strangely titalizing art on the walls (go there, you’ll see what I mean). The staff are casual and very friendly. Where this place shines is in it’s BBQ. It’s the best BBQ I’ve had in LA yet.

The pulled pork sandwiches are amazing, as are their ribs and mac and cheese. Prices are decent, $7.50 for a sandwich and a side. The ribs are $30, but are fantastic and more than enough for one person. They also seem to make their own BBQ sauces which I apply a healthy (or unhealthy) dose often.

I’ll be going back! Don’t miss out on trying this place out! How long will my arteries hold out?!?

PS. I don’t understand why you would review a BBQ place if you are a vegetarian? That makes no sense, but they have a bunch of sides that are meat free.

What I ate:
  • *****

Mmmmmm.. Pure goodness, so juicy, so tender, so delicious. Go and eat it now!

  • *****

Again, just fantastic. You need to try them out. Share with a friend or just eat it all yourself.

  • ***

Came as a side with the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Pretty good, nice and cheesy, every now and then you get a bite with gorgonzola cheese, which may or may not be your thing.

They are a BBQ place so I can’t go after them to heavy, but as a vegetarian there is just one dish to eat… so its a bit lame for me to eat there with my friends that love the place.
