Great Dining Experience!

Grapes and Hops has what you’re looking for whether elegant or casual. The main dining room is elegant with an exceptionally fine and diverse menu. The selections at the more casual patio bar have been updated to include sandwiches with imported beer and both have an excellent wine menu as well. The service is excellent and the food is fresh, well-prepared and attractively served. There are absolutely no negatives! Prices are high end, but worth it! We split two appetizers (ostrich and tempura eggplant). Ostrich, if you’ve never had it does not taste like fowl at all but more like the most tender beef you’ve ever had. I discovered that most of the calamari I’ve ever had in my life was over cooked—theirs was excellent! The tempura was absolutely fabulous and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list. A bottle of wine is half price on Sundays. Live entertainment on the patio was excellent as well. Definitely appeals to the over 30 set.
