Cozy Italiano!
Tucked away in Andersonville is this very homey Italian spot with an impressive menu selection. The service was very attentive, and the atmosphere was nice and laid-back. However, just like the previous review, I would have loved to see larger portions for the price! Overall, I enjoyed my meal and had a good time there—they definitely do have some unique and creative selections for possible future visits.
-
Ravioli Ripieni di Zucca, Grassa (Pumpkin Ravioli w/Creamy Balsamic Sauce)
Tasty and unique—could almost be a dessert item.
-
Cappellini del Giardino
A solid tomato based pasta with angel hair and lots of veggies.
-
Insalata di Pere (Salad w/Pears)
Very light and flavorful; the pecans, raisins and pan-seared pears created a nice medley, but I thought the gorgonzola was a bit strong.

quaint, but pricey italian
i came here for a friend’s birthday party and we got to sit upstairs, where it felt more quaint (like a home), cozy, yet still modern.
the menu is extensive, offering a wide selection of pastas and seafood dishes. you get to match pastas w/sauces, which is a neat option (if you know what you’re doing. =) the food itself was alright, but the portion sizes given the prices were on the smaller side.
valet is $10, but we found street parking pretty easy.
-
Ravioli Ripieni di Spinaci e Ricotta (Spinach)
the spinach ravioli tasted yum, a little bit overcooked. i got the boticelli sauce – a light tomato based sauce (almost soupy) w/veggies. i’d probably try a different sauce next time.
-
Risotto Frantasia
cooked al dente. flavor was alright, the apples were the best part, but otherwise, nothing too wowing for me.
-
Pumpkin Ravioli
woohoo, sweet ravioli. at first taste, i recognized it tasting like something familiar, but couldn’t pinpoint it til one of my friends figured it out – like cinnamon raisin english muffins! quite delicious & interesting tasting ravioli. just watch out if you’re not in the mood for a sweet tooth dinner.

New experience
I have noticed this restaurant for some time because it’s packed with people everytime I stop by. Small but very nice restaurant. They have variety and nontraditional pasta and a big wine meny. I was expecting something traditional like meatball alfredo….but……they don’t have those!! Everything in the menu is “house special”!!
You can also pick your pasta and sauce.
The size is pretty big, enough for 2 meals.
-
Fusilli con Pollo e Curry
I would never expected italian restaurant has “curry” on their menu. Ouf of curiosity, I order it, and it’s suprising good! although it’s a little bit too oily. But, it’s a nice experience!!
