My wife and I eat dinner at Mezbaan on a...
My wife and I eat dinner at Mezbaan on a regular basis. While the ambience is not on the trendy side, it is a quiet and comfortable place; we are often greeted by the same hostess and served by the same waiters. Bollywood streams on four HDTVs.
Our favorite Mezbaan dishes include the half Tandoori Chicken, Ginger Chicken, Kashmiri Naan and the Bhindi Masala (spiced okra). We disagree on the Chicken E Mezbaan. In my opinion, it’s the best chicken dish on the menu.
To drink, I often get a Manhattan, which is made a little too sweet, but still tasty. The Mango Lassi is a delicious non-alcoholic choice.
The portions are generous. We always have plenty to take home and eat the next day.
We eat at Mezbaan an average of twice per month, and we enjoy it every time. Sometimes the service can be slow, but the food is worth the wait. There is also a lunch buffet, but we have never been there for that.
