Classic american diner food, done well....

Classic american diner food, done well. Friendly, eager staff and entertaining surroundings. All the dishes with gravy are good. It’s family friendly, too, whichever that means to you.

The restaurant has a nice homey atmosphere,...

The restaurant has a nice homey atmosphere, especially for being a converted gas station. However, the place did seem a bit drafty. My party’s dishes seemed to either be hit or miss. Casserole: miss. Chicken Fried Steak: hit.

I’ll give the bistro another shot and it might go up one star.

Warm and Fuzzy Feelings

This is my favorite place to go to spend some quiet time with the BEST comfort food in town. It’s a small place with maybe just over 10 tables. Not the best place if you want a quickie dinner. Service is very friendly, very good. The food is amazing! Their recipes are a tad bit different than mom’s, which makes them really exciting. My favorites are their Chicken Fried Steak, Blue Cheese Macaroni and Cheese, and Hot Cocoa. They never skimp on decorating my hot cocoa. :)
