An adorable place with delicious food
Wow, the decor of the place was just amazing. Plants artfully arranged, tealights at the table, high lights focused on tables to create nice soft lighting. And very cool lotus lamps too. Upstairs area looked like a fun place to do drinks / lounge about.
My friends and I came here for Dine About Town deal since it’s nearing the end of Jan. Their menu was pretty good since it wasn’t a special DAT menu, but off their regular menu.
The ambiance and the good food alone are enough to recommend this place for special occasions.
Dishes I tried:
Crispy lobster ravioli
An awesome appetizer. Got 5 crispty lobster ravioli, seemed like potstickers artfully arranged around some pickled daikon and carrots. Mango and coconut sauce was drizzled on the dish. Had a nice mild spicy kick to it.
Seared Mekong Basa
Seared white fish in lemon sauce on a bed of sauteed pea sprouts. Pea sprouts were very good as was the fish.
Flourless coconut rum cake
I was hesitant about this since I read mixed reviews of it and was worried it would be too heavy. My worries were unfounded and it was just utterly delicious. Reminded of of rich egg custard with a dash of coconut flavoring. Was not very heavy at all. Though if it was larger, it might hit a point of cloyingly sweet.
