My wife and I have been eating at Angelos for over 6 years. Until 2005, we lived right down the street, and ate there or ordered take-out at least once a week. I would estimate that between the two of us and our family and friends that we have taken to Angelos, we have probably eaten over 500 of their meals…and we have probably been delighted with the food 498 of those times. I can only recall one instance of some dried out baked ziti, and one incident with a large number of bones in some flounder francaise. Otherwise, the food is always awesome…from the most basic slice of pizza to the fancier dinners, such as shrimp fra diavolo, penne in vodka sauce (with cooked prosciutto) or fettucine alfredo. They make the best stromboli I have ever had (by far), and their buffalo wings are the perfect blend of spice and flavor . The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the staff is super friendly. We enjoy it so much that we just went back, even though we now live approximately 2 hours away. As usual, Angelos was worth the trip. My favorite restaurant ever!

Just ordered a sausage and pepper pizza from Angelos. It arrived after an hour and 10 minutes. It was very cold, very soggy and the cheese, peppers and sausage had all slid to one side. I called the management just to let them know, not asking for anything, (honestly!) but to tell them that their product arrived in less than a pristine state. (I believed the delivery guy was at least pretty much to blame) Nasty and defensive, Rich (the manager), told me that in 25 years he has never had even one complaint. Never, ever? C’mon Rich, in over 25 years???? I guess I just have dumb luck, anyway He advised me next time to order from Dominos. Thanks for the tip, Rich. You should know. $21.00 poorer, with no dinner to eat, I think that I’ll take his advice
Perhaps this could have been tasty, however when it was delivered it was just very cold and soggy and the cheese and toppings were all smooshed to the one side, as if someone had taken the box and tilted it. Didn’t realize the state it was in until after I had tipped the delivery guy and opened it in the kitchen… ended up throwing it out and ordering one from another pizza place (btw: not dominos)

We have been a huge fan of Angelo’s for years… Only problem we find is narrowing down the choices. Nearly everything they make is delicious. Some of our favorites include: Chicken Caccitore; Pasta Primavera w/white sauce; Eggplant Parm w/pasta; White Veggie Calzone; Chicken Cheese Steak; Chicken Pasta Soup (as good as I can make at home)… Our kids love the Sicilian pizza, while we enjoy the thin crust… My only complaint is they put really stinky (strong) onions on their salads. You can request no onions, but they sometimes forget. Also, it can be crazy busy on a Friday or Saturday evening – which should also be a testiment to how good they are.
Huge portions; thinly sliced breaded fried eggplant, tasty red sauce – not overdone – tangy tomatoes are the star of the sauce; tons of melted cheese, and a healthy portion of pasta make this a satisfying meal a family can enjoy. Also, when you order a meal like this you also get soup (chicken pasta is awesome), a salad, and a large portion of garlic bread. When you enjoy your dinner in the restaraunt the salad and bread offerings are better than take out.
Tender, moist shaved chicken with melted american cheese on a chewy, soft long roll. It is not obnoxiously huge like some places, but it is plenty to fill the belly. It is definitely a favorite of mine and my two young sons. The three of us frequently split one sandwich. When you eat in the restaraunt they give you chips and a pickle too. P.S. They are very accomodating when I eat there with the boys too. They will cut their food into small portions and give them their own plates.
Filled with fresh veggies – brocolii, tomatoes, zuchinni, spinach, garlic, ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese, this is an incredibly tasty treat. The crisp shell can barely contain all the goodness inside. This is definitely enough for two people to share – although it tastes so good you may not want to share. It is loaded with flavor and all the juicy goodness of the perfectly cooked vegetables. If you like white veggie pizza – treat yourself to one of these!!!
