just another diner place
I went here with some friends only after one place was closed (Cancun) and the other place only allowed people of drinking age in (Jupiter). The restaurant has the typical old school diner look, with jukeboxes and pictures of people like Marilyn Monroe.
I ended up ordered from the breakfast menu, and got the chicken fried steak and egg. I thought the chicken fried steak was solid, but they sauce they put on it was too salty. The hashbrown was also not crispy enough and somewhat bland. My friend also got chicken fried steak, the dinner version, and he wasn’t impressed. It was agreed that the breakfast version is better. I was also told the burgers were OK, but nothing special.
This place was as average a restaurant as I think you can get. The prices were also slightly high, so I would just stick with eating at the numerous other places in Berkeley.

Sauce on the steak is too salty. The hashbrown is a let down compared to other places. Comes with 3 eggs (I got scrambled), which went alright with the steak.
