Seriously?
Either I picked ALL of the worst dishes on the menu, or this place just really is that bad. Boka epitomizes bad food being over priced, just because it’s downtown.
When I first read about this place I felt the need to check it out, mostly because the description said something to the effect of, “Seattle’s first truly L.A. restaurant” Being from L.A. and not knowing exactly what that meant, I felt it necessary to see what this was about.
Yes, it’s true, there are some restaurants like that in L.A. but we call those restaurants shitty, and stay out of them.
The drinks were over priced and poorly blended. The menu was a mish mosh of poorly put together stuff college kids eat, yet with a fancy description and a price to prove it. Meaning, I don’t really go out looking to eat pigs in a blanket for 7-10 bucks.
The service was slow and prissy, the ambiance dull and pretentious. I wouldn’t make the mistake of stumbling into that place again.

Nice Environment
The ambience of this restaurant is very unique, the wall changes colour every few minutes… The service is average. The background music is some sort of trance or techno.
I enjoyed the environment and the drinks. The food wasn’t as unique or cannot taste anything special.
