Passing through Atlanta, GA on a Monday (June 8, 2009) – we ate here late night after a Brave’s game. The restaurant was conviently open until 11:00, and had half off sushi as it was Monday! Dim room with bright neon lights created a modern, hip atmosphere.
The sushi was definitely worth it, it was not too extravagant but matched the price of around ~$12-15 for 6-8 rolls (not including the half off). Although I am usually one to actually stay away from California Rolls because I like the more raw sushi, the most memorable was a California Roll dipped in Tempura and Fried. The Crunchy Crunchy Roll (my boyfriend enjoys crunchier sushi) was not very crunchy at all and was the bigger food disappointment.
The service was medium paced, as the night was dying down and the waitresses were getting restless to leave. It could have definitely been better but not bad enough to complain about. As many sushi restaurants are, there was a glass table where people could watch the chefs make the sushi.
Quirks: The bathroom was down a long hallway with a TV projected on the mirror – the sounds of the TV definitely startled me as I thought someone was following me into the bathroom! We also saw the waitresses take shots at around 10:30 PM.
