Last minute impromptu dinner with a friend and...
Last minute impromptu dinner with a friend and we decided on this cafe in south Capitol Hill.
We ordered a couple of things to try. Omelette au Choix (with ham), Croque Monsieur, and Gateau au foie de volaille.
The omelette is pretty standard affair but it’s not bad. My friend had the Croque Monsieur, and we shared the third dish (which is a smooth chicken liver spread served with bread, pickles, dried cherries and some sauce). The chicken liver was excellent. It was very tasty and that one alone was worth the visit to this cafe :D
