i should have left at the first clue, the bathrooms were atrocious. i walked in, then out. i’d already ordered by then and was starving so i patiently waited, and waited, and waited. 35 minutes and then some. finally i tracked down my server, a prettyish heavy set girl with curly brown hair and inquired about my order. she said it was on the way. so i waited some more. 20 minutes later it had finally arrived, but it wasn’t what i ordered. blood-sugar low i ate around the meat (i ordered a vegetarian dish, but recieved instead something that resembled beef.) i tried to flag her down, however she was engrossed with a coworker talking about having some guy named freddie’s baby. well congratulations sweety, but this isn’t what i ordered, my drink has been empty for 15 minutes, and i want to leave soon. won’t be going back. but hey, congratulations on the baby.

Elephant Bar was definitely cute. Elephants are awesome. But anyway, the food was definitely good, better than I expected. However, there is a slight problem with all of the dishes being smaller than what it appears in the menu… by a lot. My friend’s “three generous portions” of chicken was not so generous of portions. The goodness of the food definitely makes up for it though. For someone like me who can’t eat a lot, I think it’s perfect. It’s also really good for mixed fruit drinks. The mango swirl was SO good!! So yeah, overall, other than the fact that the pictures in the menu were misleading in size, it’s a pretty nice place to eat at.
