Awesome place for beer and food
Many people love visiting breweries for both the drinks and the food. Of course, it is expected that the beer should be great, but the food isn’t always top notch. You can say that about some breweries, but Gordon Biersch is definitely a place I would come back to given it’s wonderful foods and tasty beers.
The upstairs area is excellent for large parties, but make sure you reserve ahead. Downstairs is the bar where it gets quite crowded, especially after a Giants game. It’s certainly a fun environment to enjoy a game on the HDTV sets they have there over a beer. Parking is not an issue despite its proximity to AT&T Park. It’s still a few blocks away that it’s not realistic to walk all the way to the ball park.

Fish of the day
Red snapper is a delicious choice and Gordon Biersch prepares it just right. It’s tender and juicy with the right amount of flavoring. Top this with some rice and vegetables and you have a terrific meal. For $18, which is more than their other meat dishes, you would typically expect seafood dishes to be smaller. This is certainly not the case. You get generous portions that will fill you up in no time.

Garlic Fries
Some of the best garlic fries I’ve ever had. This is what you pay for at AT&T Park. I believe you get more in terms of portion at the restaurant, and to me they tasted better than when I had them at the park.

No exaggeration. This place has the best burgers I have ...
No exaggeration. This place has the best burgers I have ever tasted. The meat must be some mixture of sirloin, because it is the perfect ground steak burger. Bar None. Better than Val’s in Castro Valley. Certainly better than In-N-Out. Most people come here for the beer since it’s a Brewery, but a trip to the city is worth it for the burgers and their garlic fries.
