Great ambiance; disappointing food. The wine, on the other hand, was truly excellent.
1. Lamb Chops. These were fine, but uninspired.
2. Ahi Tacos. The mango/fruit topping completely overwhelmed the taste of the Tuna.
3. Romaine Salad. eh…
Try the Kenneth Volk Mourvedre 2005 if available.

This is my favorite restaurant (of the moment) in the Hyde/Polk area. It’s a good place to drop by for casual fine dining every couple of weeks. I really like the look and feel of the place, the food is good and the service is always great. Cool wine list too. The dishes that I have tried and like are: Shaved fennel with crispy parmesan wafer, ahi tuna tartare tacos, coca-cola braised pork shoulder.
