Seafood Seafood Seafood
The Lobster House is that traditional seafood restaurant all shore areas have . . . except it is better.
I have been dining here for 40 years. Football banquets, family dinners, entertaining guests from out-of-town, all brought us here. There are two drawbacks: 1. the Lobster House takes no reservations (although our next door neighbor, who dined there several times a week, always was able to get one), and 2. this place is busy!
Nevertheless, dining here provides a wonderful view of the docks watching the boats come and go. Service is standard, the menu is simply fresh seafood prepared well, but not eloquently.
What s amazing is that it wasn’t until a couple years ago, right before we found out we were expecting our first child, that I found out the Lobster House makes the best stuffed flounder (my favorite dish). They stuff the flounder with scallops and shrimp. Heavenly. We now return just for that.

Stuffed Flounder
Heavenly! The flounder is stuffed with Crab Imperial and scallops and then it is topped with shrimp and a Mornay sauce. This is what brings me back 45 minutes regularly.
