This is almost the only place I will get a real cheesesteak. Some of the leanest steak in philly, no “chewing fat” which i find gross. Stick with the basics – as much as i love a pizza steak, the sauce here is not so good. If your a pepper fan, this is the place to go. Burgers are also good, if for some crazy reason you don’t want a steak.

After having Dalessandro’s, I have a new favorite for cheesesteak. The meat is high quality and piled high (they give you a spoon for the inevitable meat escapees). The bread is tasty and holds its form. Any extra ingredients (mushrooms, pizza sauce, peppers, onions, different cheeses, and others) complement rather than overpower the meat. One gripe was that the meat wasn’t seasoned enough straight off the grill. However, you could say its nice to have the option to add salt, pepper, pickles, and jalepenos to your taste.
