Purple Cafe and Wine Bar is an urban haven of rustic elements with wrought iron fixtures and an extraordinary bar. Purple features a global wine selection coupled with a menu that blends classic American styles, seasonal Northwest ingredients and Mediterranean themes. Our wine menu offers 75 varieties by the glass, over 300 selections by the bottle and 14 rotating wine flights.

Great place for romance
The Purple Cafe has a wonderful, romantic atmosphere. My husband and I made a reservation on a Friday night for 8:30 pm and it was very busy, however, we were able to be seated right away. The wine selection was impressive (something you would expect from a wine bar) but a bit overwhelming if you are not a wine connoisseur. The waitress was not especially helpful in suggesting wine pairings for the food we ordered however we did manage to select some delightful wines on our own.

Great ambience with great finger food.
Purple cafe has 3 stores around Seattle area. The one in Kirkland downtown has great outdoor seatings. The one in Woodinville has a loft which is nicely decorated with a fireplace and comfy sofas. It is a great place to hang out with friends with a glass of red wine. On the taste bud side, I loves their salad menu and their unique appetizers.
