Desis faced many challenges icluding racism, poor housing, poor nutrition, and of course a language barrier. But through all this adversity came strength. Today's Desis are flourishing and integral part of Canada's social and economic fabric. Food is a great source of fabric for Desis who love to socialize. Junction is where two things join or meet.
