late night donuts!
Kingpin is a staple among Berkeley students because it is right along Durant and always has the wonderful aroma of fried dough. It is always alluring to me because the smell and because you can see them make donuts. The best thing about Kingpin is its long hours. They are open to around 2am or something, meaning people can come by for late night snacks. Actually, it is late at night when they are start making fresh donuts I think, so it is actually better to go late.
As for the taste, I think it is rather normal, and it doesn’t wow me in anyway. Whenever I get a donut, it isn’t warm at all. I can’t remember how much a donut usually costs, but some of them seem kinda pricey. Still, it’s a great place to indulge yourself for a snack.
