Forgot to add that I have tried the Air Jordan (Fresh Tomato and Basil), the Al Bundy (Sundried Tomato, Feta, Whole Roasted Garlic Cloves, and Basil), and the Wrigley Field (Grilled Chicken, Whole Roasted Garlic Cloves, Pesto, and Feta). All EXCELLENT.

And they are open until 10, and take dine-in orders over the phone… and when I was there at 9:15pm, they were still packed. I see business people here all the time.

Wow. I have had several places for deep dish including the Bay Area’s famous Zachary’s. This beats Z’s out slightly because of the crust… I’ve been here twice now, and both times, I have been very impressed.

The tomato sauce is slightly sweet, veggies super fresh, pesto rich and deep, and the crust is super crisp and thick. A true pizza pie.

Their soft drinks are free refills, and they have a nice Arnold Palmer, very brisk and tart yet sweet. They serve all their drinks in mason jars.

Two hungry guys can finish a medium, and two smaller appetites can finish a small.

Best Chicago Pizza I've ever had

People speak of BJs and Unos but seriously, those are second rate, especially Unos. BJs definitely offers excellent pizza, but Pizza Chicago is by far THE BEST deep dish pizzeria you can find in the South Bay.

There is no question that this place is popular as there is a wait at this location. I’ve passed by the SJ Downtown location and it is usually bustling too.

Service is great and so is the food. Once it comes you should gobble down those slices before they get cold. The cheeses that Pizza Chicago uses just totally blows other places away. It’s amazing.

BBQ sauce and chicken always go well. Top that with delicious cheese and you have a wonderful pizza. I think this is the one unbeatable pizza they have here. I would go on reviewing but I’ve had way too many pizzas here like Harray Caray, Wrigley Field, The Fridge, etc, and while all of those are top notch, none of them can touch The Untouchables…

I’m not exactly sure on the pricing as it is a vegetarian pizza so I assume it should be cheaper than the typical $20 they charge for meat pizzas. This is definitely a delicious pizza. If you think vegetarianism is weak, you’re wrong. Pizzerias like Cheeseboard will show you that even with only vegetables you can deliver one of the best pizzas. Well the Joilet Jake combines 4 different mushrooms onto this pizza. You might think that’s overkill but having a variety in addition to your typical toppings makes the aroma of this dish even better. I recommend this dish for those who are curious as to how vegetarian pizzas are.

Among my favorite pizza places in the South Bay. Great deep dish with interesting toppings. Tastes better when you eat at the restaurant; the deep dish crust is better straight out of the pan.
