2. Samosa Chaat
Probably the best thing on the menu. These are to die for – a regular samosa covered in a creamy and spicy sauce. The samosas are great in themselves, but add this sauce and they become almost literally addictive. I defy anyone not to like these.

10. Chicken Tikka
Although it’s on the menu as an appetizer, this dish is easily big enough to rate as a meal, and it’s very good indeed. I think this is probably my second favourite ‘entree’ after the malai kofta. The sauce is wonderful.

49. Malia Kofta
For me this is the best entree on the menu: vegetarian dumplings in a creamy and mildly spicy sauce. I could eat this all day.

85. Kheer
I’m not a big fan of cold desserts (or desserts in general), but the kheer at India’s Finest is great – the rice is very subtly spiced and it just melts in your mouth.

3. Pakoras
These are amazing. I tried the vegetarian pakoras – very much like onion bhajis – deep fried balls of vegetables. They are amazing. So far I’ve ordered them every time I’ve visited the restaurant.
Best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten in
I’ve eaten at India’s Finest quite a lot and their food is wonderful except for the Vindaloo, which can (in my opinion) be a bit underspiced. However, today I visited again and I was in the mood for vindaloo, and because the rest of their menu is virtually perfect I was determined to get their vindaloo spiced to my taste. I asked the waiter for it to be made very very spicy – extremely spicy. When the food came out it was fairly spicy, but still not as spicy as I’m used to in Indian restaurants in England. I told the waiter that it was pretty good but not quite as spicy as I was used to. He then told me that he’d get some extra green peppers for me. I was skeptical that peppers added after the meal was cooked would do the trick. He brought out a little dish of small diced green peppers (about the size of chili peppers) – I mixed these in and the meal was exactly as spicy as vindaloos I’ve had in England, and the spices brought the vindaloo flavour out perfectly – exactly how vindaloo is supposed to be. He said the secret was the green peppers – they actually add spice where other peppers/spices wouldn’t have the same effect. So if you’re visiting India’s Finest and you find the vindaloo not as spicy as you like, ask for them to make it spicier by adding the green peppers – they’ll know what you mean. Be careful adding them though – they do add quite a bit of heat to the dish. I swallowed a good two glasses of water and a beer and I was perspiring a little by the end of the meal – just the effect I feel a truly great vindaloo should have.
So I guess the moral of the story is that if you want a meal spiced a certain way, all you have to do is let them know.
All-in-all, with this little trick with their vindaloo recipe, I’d have to say that this is the best Indian restaurant I’ve visited in the US – and I’ve visited a lot in both Southern California and in the Boston area. I’ve tasted many of the India’s Finest dishes and they are all phenomenal. The sauces are perfect and they will spice food to your taste if you make them aware of exactly what you want. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly and so I’d have to say that this is actually the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever eaten in – and that includes Indian restaurants in England. No lover of Indian food should be disappointed after a visit to this fabulous restaurant.

13. Chicken Vindaloo
It's truly India's finest
I’ve been going regularly to India’s Finest for a couple of months now and not only is this restaurant one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever eaten in, but it has to be one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Their food is uniformly brilliant, with a great selection of excellent quality Indian food of all kinds.

13. Chicken Vindaloo
I like vindaloo very spicy, and although it wasn’t quite spicy enough they happily adjusted the spices in the meal for me. I was very happy that this dish, which is often poorly made in restaurants in the US, was as good as I remembered it. Their other dishes are all excellent too.
