theres a conveyor belt of sushi on colored...
theres a conveyor belt of sushi on colored plates and you pick whatever you want to eat. gives you the choice of eating only what you want. plus they make the sushi upon request. SEARED SALMON probably the best thing they make there, and its only 1.50.
just make sure u get there mad early because there is a line up the wazoo.
nice sushi with affordable price
I come here with my friends quite often. They have pretty good sushi in here, yummy but cheap. Although they are not the best, I never find better sushi with these kind of price anywhere else.
The sushi are put on a moving conveyor belt, so you just take anything you want that moves past your table. You can also order directly to the sushi chefs for any kind of sushi that you dont find at the belt. The prices for each plate of sushi (usually containing 2-3 pieces of sushi) ranged from $1.00 to $3.00.
This place is quite crowded at times, but that makes almost anything on the conveyor belt are fresh, because the chefs keep making new sushi almost at all times. I’d recommend the seared salmon sushi, spider roll, takoyaki, tempura nigiri sushi, and house special roll (the last one is very good for people that need to fill their stomach while keeping the amount written of the bill low)
-
seared salmon
2 pcs of salmon sushi, seared so its about half cooked, with a hint of mayonnaise on top.
-
takoyaki
3 pcs of fried octopus balls, topped with mayonnaise and special sweet sauce
-
spider roll
fried soft shelled-crab roll

Cheap sushi just to get full
Hey, if you want to eat lots of sushi, it’s hard to find a great place where you pay little. This happens to be a place where the price is right for the sushi that you get.
I can actually get full by eating here, but that is mainly because I use a filler dish (I think it’s called the House Special, where it’s basically a roll of tuna, rice, wrapped in egg).
The interesting thing is that they will take care of the fish right in front of your face, but they tuck it away to be used for some other time (or place perhaps).
I like to go here just to eat sushi for cheap…not because it’s the best sushi in town.
It’s true that you may have to wait a while. But at least parking has gotten much better here than couple of years ago.
I forgot what the dish is called, but if you see them searing tuna with a torch, it’s something that is worth eating. So good!

Not gourment sushi, but decent quality and a fantastic value
This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at and can’t be beat when you want to get a sushi fix without breaking the bank. The sushi is “mass-produced”—balls of rice made by a machine are topped off with pre-sliced fish and pre-made salads. This often leads to nigiri that doesn’t quite stay together, but that’s part of the fun. Because they go through so much volume, I find the fish to be very fresh (sometimes fresher than significantly more expensive restaurants nearby). The salmon nigiri is excellent and highly recommended.
The restaurant is very popular so expect long waits (30-60 minutes during peak times).
I’ve tried a bunch of different converyor belt sushi places (including Sushi Yama, and Aa) but I still keep coming back to Sushiland!
sushi on the go
Their sushi is ok, but that’s why it’s pretty cheap. It’s fun to go occasionally though for the conveyor belt sushi novelty. Plus if you want food fast you can sit down and start eating right away. Plates range between $1-5. I’ve had better conveyor belt sushi, but in Seattle there aren’t many other options. Try Sushi Yama for comparable kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi which is just down the street. Your other option is Blue C Sushi but this is in a significantly higher price range.
